One of my most popular designs in round Persian rugs is the Tabriz Mahi design and this particular Mahi carpet features a pattern that is very unusual and has lots of large silk highlights. Designed for high traffic areas, these Tabriz Mahi oriental carpets will last a lifetime and are also great as showpieces due to their high quality and lots of silk highlights. A great example of a rare and beautiful round Persian carpet. Large square Tabriz Persian carpet with a geometric Heriz design, which is very hard to find in this size and among high end oriental rugs. Most high end Heriz Tabriz Persian rugs are made with very kurkwool and silk and it is very rare to find these type of oriental carpets in this square or other odd shaped size. They are often compared to Native American rugs due to their design and these Persian rugs are designed to be showpieces and last a lifetime.
This large Tabriz Persian carpet features a dome shaped design known as Ghombad Faraji. It is a very rare variation of the main Gombardeh design and extremely hard to find in oriental rugs. Typically, this design is only made in very high quality 60raj+ Tabriz Persian rugs, but I have been able to offer similar Tabriz carpets in larger sizes. Like all of my other 50 raj Tabriz rugs, this carpet is designed to be a showpiece and also very durable. 10' round Tabriz Persian rug with a silk foundation and among the finest round oriental carpets that I have offered so far. Designed to be very durable and yet very luxurious, these Tabriz have large amount of silk added to their pile as well as a silk foundation, so they are definite showpieces. Typically, round oriental rugs are not this large and to find round and oval carpets in this 8-10 foot size can be difficult. Another unique feature of this Tabriz carpet is the color combination, which brings out the silk highlights. Small oval pure silk Qom Persian rug with the fringes removed, which is extremely rare in oriental carpets. Oval carpets are always rare and this Qum carpet was the only one that I have ever offered with these rare colors and without any fringes. The light blue color and the overall oval shape make this a very unique and almost strange looking Persian carpet. Nain Persian rug with a design called a tree-of-life, which is very rare in high end 6-lah Naiin oriental carpets. As with all of my Nain rugs, this carpet has over 600 kpsi and is an extremely fine example of a true showpiece rug. The design is such that it is ideal for a formal area and some of my clients like to hang these picture carpets oon walls. Nain rugs tend to be very traditional in colors and design, so a Naiin carpet like this one is very different from the others.
Large Qom Persian carpet with orange and gold colors and a perfect example of what high end oriental rugs should look and feel like. As with all of my other Qom rugs that I offer, this carpet has over 700 kpsi and is made of pure silk. Most city rugs are made in various degrees of quality and the Qom carpets are no exception. Even though I could easily sell lower quality rugs, it is these high end pieces that are in my opinion the reason why the Persian carpets are as popular as they are. One of most unique Nain Persian rugs is this large round Nain oriental carpet with a rare design and a 9Lah quality. Round Nain rugs are very hard to find and the high end Nain carpets are rarely ever round. In fact, this is the first time that I was able to find a decent round Nain in this large size and I was also taken back by the unique design. Unfortunately, I have not been able to offer more of these rare round oriental rugs, but I still hope to be able to offer more unique Nain carpets in the years to come. Another very unusual Persian carpet is this octagon Tabriz rug with a silk foundation and a 60 raj quality. Due to my personal passion for rare and unique oriental carpets, I always try to offer rugs that are different from what most other retailers sell in their stores. This Tabriz carpet was actually a twin set, but due to the large size I sold both carpets seperately. Finding octagon shaped Persian rugs is extremely rare and this twin set were the first ones that I have offered so far. Among my featured Persian rug designs are the Tabriz Heriz oriental rugs, which feature a very geometric pattern very different from most other Persian carpets. Most Persian carpets feature a large medaillion and to find one like this Tabriz rug and in this 50 raj quality is very rare. The design and quality make it perfect for a dining room or any other area, where a large round carpet is needed to be both beautiful and durable. This Nain Persian carpet is the finest and highest quality of all of mine Nain rugs and it has a 4-Lah quality. The term LAH refers to the number of strands per fringe and the smaller the number, the finer the rug. All of my Persian Nain carpets are extremely fine pieces and this is the first Nain carpet with a genuine 4-Lah quality and over 600 knots per square inch making it as fine as many of the pure silk Persian carpets you see in stores. Twin Persian rugs are rare and most of them are in offered in smaller sizes like this Tabriz carpet set. Since all genuine Persian carpets are handmade, it is very difficult to create these twin sets, unless the weaver is very skilled. The most common method of creating twin Persian carpets is to weave a very long piece and then cut it in the middle. After the rug is cut in half, the fringes are added to the other half of the carpets and they are sold as twin set. Very rare oval Tabriz Persian carpet with a metal foundation in a small size, which I have not been able to replace for a couple of years now. Metal carpets are among the most unusual Persian rugs and to have the metal added in an oval Tabriz carpet is even more unique. This design is rarely ever found in Persian rugs and the few other rare metal carpets have all sold in a very short amount of time.
