Rug #5110 - Metal Based Tabriz rug!!
This Tabriz rug sold in 2009 features a silver metal and cotton foundation, which is
only the second time that I have ever offered such a rug. Most Persian
rugs feature a gold colored base and this was truly a very unique piece. |

Rug #1201 - A truly unique Nain rug
from 2009 is this 6-Lah piece with a large floral design. While the
colors are very traditional in Nain rugs, the design and overall looks
is very unusual. Add the high quality 6-Lah workmanship and this is
truly a gorgeous rug. |

Rug #2088 - Amazing looking pictorial
rug! This Tabriz rug looks more like a painting than a rug.
Made with a silk foundation by a very skilled weaver, this piece is one
of my favorite pictorial rugs that I have ever offered. |

Rug #5126 - One of the most
popular rugs from 2009 is this Tabriz rug made by the Jafari family, who
are well known for their dome shaped Gonbad rugs. It sold within a few
weeks of arrival and finding these type of rugs is always a real
challenge. |
