Tabriz Persian rug #5127, click on the picture for more information about Persian rugs. Qom Oriental Carpet #5128, click on picture for more examples of Oriental Carpets. Tabriz Oriental rug #1234, click on the picture for more details about Oriental Rugs. Large pure silk Persian Qom rug with a dome shaped design called Gombardeh or just Gombad. These type of high end pure silk Qom Oriental carpets are very popular with my clients and are great examples of what high end Persian rugs should look and feel like. Most high end Qom Persian rugs feature very traditional designs and even though the majority of the Oriental carpets are of a much lower quality, it is these high quality pure silk Persian rugs, that has given the name the respect it rightfully deserves.

My Personal Favorites

PAGE 3 of 3 -- Years 2009-Present

Large Tabriz Persian rug with a silver metal and cotton foundation.   Large 6-Lah Nain Persian rug with a very unique design.

Rug #5110 - Metal Based Tabriz rug!!
This Tabriz rug sold in 2009 features a silver metal and cotton foundation, which is only the second time that I have ever offered such a rug. Most Persian rugs feature a gold colored base and this was truly a very unique piece.

Rug #1201 - A truly unique Nain rug from 2009 is this 6-Lah piece with a large floral design. While the colors are very traditional in Nain rugs, the design and overall looks is very unusual. Add the high quality 6-Lah workmanship and this is truly a gorgeous rug.

Large Tabriz Persian rug with a silver metal and cotton foundation.   Genuine Jafari Gonbad Tabriz Persian rug.

Rug #2088 - Amazing looking pictorial rug!  This Tabriz rug looks more like a painting than a rug.  Made with a silk foundation by a very skilled weaver, this piece is one of my favorite pictorial rugs that I have ever offered.

Rug #5126 - One  of the most popular rugs from 2009 is this Tabriz rug made by the Jafari family, who are well known for their dome shaped Gonbad rugs. It sold within a few weeks of arrival and finding these type of rugs is always a real challenge.

Oversize 6-Lah Nain rug with gorgeous Gonbad design.

Rug #5125 - The most commented rug I have offered in 2008-2009 is this truly gorgeous Nain rug. It seemed like every client mentioned how beautiful this rug was and it is a great example of what a fine 6-Lah Nain rug should look like.
