Rug #2059 - This metal and silk small oval Tabriz
carpet from 2006
is being enjoyed by a client in Arizona. Oval rugs are very rare to begin
with and the gold metal foundation takes it to the next level. |
Rug #1149 - One of my most popular pure silk Qom
carpets I have
offered. Received in 2006 and sold shortly after arrival to a client in
Sweden, this large square Qom carpet has received a lot of interest and
compliments. |

Rug #5087 - Very similar to one of my smaller favorites
is this oversize Tabriz rug from 2006 with the Gombad Faraji design.
Absolute showpiece in nature, this Tabriz carpet did not stay with my for too long and
if it was just a bit smaller, it would have stayed right here in my
home. |
Rug #1153 - A large gold metal and silk 60 raj Tabriz
carpet with a
METAL & SILK FOUNDATION from 2006. I have offered many round metal
carpets in the
past, but this one is among the finest that I have been able to find and
my clients liked it so much, that they bought a much larger Tabriz metal
rug as
well. |

Rug #1160 - Another very rare and popular from 2006 is
this 60 raj Tabriz carpet with a Silk Foundation. Given the amount of
interest, I probably could have sold it a dozen times. It is a very fine
rug and the design is just perfect for a large square sized carpet like
this one. |
Rug #3106 - This oval Tabriz twin set from 2006 sold the same day
that it arrived to a fellow rug dealer. Persian carpets like this set are
so hard to find that they typically sell as soon as they arrive. I
personally like the quality and workmanship. |

| Rug #1202 - Highest
quality Nain rug that I have offered so far. This is a 4-Lah piece with
over 900 kpsi that I was lucky enough to receive in 2007 and it didn't
stick around to for too long. Even though it is a wool rug, it actually
features a higher knot count than most silk rugs. |
Rug #1175 -
A rug collector's dream come true. This pure silk Qom rug from 2006
features a design that is made up of many different types of rugs. It's
as if the weaver laid out a bunch of small rugs in a geometric pattern
and then created this piece. Most unusual. |

Rug #5113 - This 10' round Nain rug is one of my own
personal favorites and an extremely rare piece. It is the first time
ever that I have had the chance to offer a round 6-Lah quality Nain in
this rare size and the design is just amazing. |
Rug #4078 - Tabriz runner from 2006 with a very unique
variation of the Mahi pattern. Since most Mahi rugs tend to be very
traditional, it is always a joy to be able to offer new ideas and
designs. |
| |
Rug #5095 - It's the red background color in this
oversized Qom rug from 2006 that made it stand out from the rest. Like
many of my rare rugs, this piece found a happy new home far away and is
now hanging on a wall in Norway. |
Rug #3108 - I'm not too sure what to make of this rare
Tabriz rug from 2006, but it's definitely unusual. The colors are
extremely rare and for reasons unknown to me I have only seen this
particular design in 5' round rugs. |
| |
Rug #4090 - This long Nain rug from 2006 is another
example of the variety of new designs that are now coming out of the
Nain/Isfahan region. Even though the colors are very traditional, the
design is everything but. |
Rug #5102 - Like the runner above, this Tabriz Mahi rug
was made by one of the most respected Mahi rug weavers in Iran, the
Pirouzian family. They are known for making very unusual and high
quality Mahi rugs and I consider myself to be fortunate to be able to
offer them to you. |

Rug #1170 - Round pure silk Qom rugs like this piece from
2006 are always a bit of a novelty, and the geometric pattern gave it an
even more unique appearance. |
Rug #1197 - Another rug with some
serious mileage is this Nain rug from 2007, which ended up with a client
in the Ukraine. Just like with the runner above, the design in this Nain
rug is very unusual and the large square size is also very rare. |
Rug #5120 - This 7x10 Nain rug was one of my first rugs
from 2008 and was sold within a couple of weeks. The quality of this
piece is as amazing as the design and it's was the first time that I was
able to offer a Nain rug with this Gonbad design. |
Rug #1205 - Another round pure silk Qom rug, but with a
very unique design and color combination. The brownish gold color along
with the Gonbad design is extremely rare and it one of my most mentioned
rugs from 2008. |
Rug #1206 - One of the rarest round rugs from 2008 is
this 60 raj Tabriz rug with a silk foundation. In the center is a
picture of the ruins in Persepolis and it is very rare to find such
detailed artwork in round Persian rugs. |
Rug #1213 - This 6-Lah Nain Persian rug was also from
2008 and it pretty much sold as soon as it arrived. The unique design of
the large fields with the floral artwork made it an instant favorite and
it is great example of a rare and fine Nain. |
