This large Tabriz Persian carpet features a dome shaped design known as Ghombad Faraji. It is a very rare variation of the main Gombardeh design and extremely hard to find in oriental rugs. Typically, this design is only made in very high quality 60raj+ Tabriz Persian rugs, but I have been able to offer similar Tabriz carpets in larger sizes. Like all of my other 50 raj Tabriz rugs, this carpet is designed to be a showpiece and also very durable.   Another very rare Persian Tabriz rug is this star-shaped oriental carpet, which has received a trememdous amount of interest. Due to my family's Persian rug business in Tabriz, which has been there for generations, I am able to offer some of these rare Tabriz oriental carpets. My family has direct contacts with many of the weavers in the city and as a result I can purchase Persian rugs that most other oriental carpet retailers are unable to unwilling to offer because of the uniqueness or cost of the Persian rugs.

Rug #1069 - This Persian Tabriz rug was completed in early 2002 and features a variation of the Gombardeh design, kown as Gombad Faraji, which is very hard to find and in my opinion an absolute gorgeous piece. It was sold in the fall of 2002 and is residing now in the San Francisco Bay area.

Rug #1126 - What an unusual piece. Completed in 2004, this Tabriz carpet was sold to a client in Turkey within a few days after it arrived. This Tabriz rug went practically around the world and it is one of the most unique pieces I have ever offered.

Tabriz Persian rug with a very high quality and designed to be a showpiece perfect for a formal room or hanging on a wall. Like all 60 raj Tabriz carpets, this piece features a silk foundation and is a very luxurious looking oriental rug. The color and design combination is very detailed and masterfully done. As with all of my rare Tabriz rugs, this is a one-of-a-kind Persian rug and I have not been able to find another oriental carpet like it since.   Medium sized twin Tabriz oriental rugs with a diamond shape, which is one of the most unique Persian carpets that I have ever offered. My specialty is in rare and truly unique Persian rugs like this set and many of my oriental carpets are so rare that they are actually purchased by other retailers who then turn around and sell them in their stores. Due to my direct family connections in Tabriz, I am able to receive some of the most remarkable Tabriz Persian rugs, which are well known for their at times rare designs.

Rug #1055 - SILK FOUNDATION and a very unique pattern set this Tabriz rug from 2001 apart from many other rugs. I had a smaller twin set with this design as well, but the quality of this piece is truly a high end.

Rug #3067 - What a unique Tabriz twin set from 2003. Never seen anything like them before and after. I have had many requests for these diamond twin rugs after they were sold and have not been able to find others.

60 Raj Tabriz Persian rug made with a silk foundation and a very unique design. High end Persian carpets like this one tend to have very traditional designs, but this Tabriz rug is very different than then the rest and I have not been able to offer a similar carpet since. The silk foundation and large silk highlights bring out the high quality and vibrant colors, which is a great contrast to the solid black and olive green colors. This Tabriz rug is my wife's all time favorite and she keeps reminding me of it every time she sees the picture of it.   Another very unusual Persian carpet is this octagon Tabriz rug with a silk foundation and a 60 raj quality. Due to my personal passion for rare and unique oriental carpets, I always try to offer rugs that are different from what most other retailers sell in their stores. This Tabriz carpet was actually a twin set, but due to the large size I sold both carpets seperately. Finding octagon shaped Persian rugs is extremely rare and this twin set were the first ones that I have offered so far.

Rug #5005 - Olive-green and solid black design on a SILK FOUNDATION. This Tabriz carpet is my wife's favorite and one of my first high end Tabriz rugs from 2001.

Rug #1113 - Another high end Tabriz rug with a silk foundation and this octagon was actually part of a twin set from 2003. These odd shaped rugs are so difficult to make that it is virtually impossible to find more.

High End Tabriz oriental rugs often feature design, which are very different than most Persian carpets and this large Tabriz carpet is a great example of what a rare and high end design could look like. Made with a silk foundation, this Oriental Tabriz carpet is of a very high quality and combined with this unique design make for a very elegant showpiece. This particular Persian rug design is very hard to find and I have been requesting it for many years now.   10' round Tabriz Persian rug with a silk foundation and among the finest round oriental carpets that I have offered so far. Designed to be very durable and yet very luxurious, these Tabriz have large amount of silk added to their pile as well as a silk foundation, so they are definite showpieces. Typically, round oriental rugs are not this large and to find round and oval carpets in this 8-10 foot size can be difficult. Another unique feature of this Tabriz carpet is the color combination, which brings out the silk highlights.

Rug #5063 - Love this Tabriz rug design and combined with a high end SILK FOUNDATION makes for a very unique piece. Completed in 2004, it was sold as soon as it arrived and my clients love it.

Rug #5023 - This Tabriz carpet from 2002 is far more beautiful than the picture. It measures 10' in diameter and also has a SILK FOUNDATION. Design and quality are just superb and it was the first 10' round Persian carpet with the silk foundation that I was able to offer.

Very Fine Persian Tabriz carpet with a picturial design in the center, which is very hard to find in Oriental rugs. Even though my specialty is in high end Persian rugs, I am still impressed by the quality and workmanship of some of the carpets that I offer and this unique Tabriz carpet is a great example. Picturial rugs are sought after for their uniqueness and are often hang on walls or even framed. Most of my oriental carpets sell very quickly due to my passion for quality and they often keep their value as they get older.   Large square Tabriz Persian rug with a combination of a Mahi design and other patterns, which is extremely rare in oriental carpets. The borders of this Tabriz carpet are made with metal fields and the star shaped field feature a Mahi pattern. Oriental rugs like this Tabriz carpet are extremely rare and combined with a square size makes for a truly masterpiece.

Rug #1040 - One of my favorites from  the early days  in 2000 is this Tabriz rug. The artwork and colors set it apart from many others Persian carpets and there are tons of silk highlights in this piece.

Rug #1071 - GOLD-Metal and several different patterns make this Tabriz rug from 2002 a definite centerpiece. The Mahi design and the geometric pattern make this a one-of-a-kind carpet.

Very Fine Persian Isfahan carpet with a picturial design. Even though my specialty is in Tabriz oriental carpets and Qom Persian rugs, I am also on occasion able to offer other types of Persian carpets like this Isfahan rug. Picturial rugs are sought after for their uniqueness and are often hang on walls or even framed. Most of my carpets sell very quickly due to my passion for quality and they often keep their value as they get older.   Small round Tabriz Persian carpet featuring a large picture of the ancient Persian empire. Round oriental rugs are also a bit of a challenge to find and to have a pictorial round Persian carpet is even more rare. Fortunately for me, my family knew the Persian rug weaver so after we purchased one of these type of round Tabriz carpets a couple of years ago, we asked him to make us another one and it is among my personal favorite round oriental rugs.

Rug #5040 - Brown Tabriz rug from 2003 with such a unique pattern. This carpet is lying in a living room facing the Eiffel tower in Paris and our friend refuses to send it back. Wonder why??

Rug # 2032 - Small round Tabriz rug made in 2002 features the ancient history of the Persian Empire. One of my own personal favorite picture rugs. It is very rare to find these small round pictorials.

Very Fine Persian Isfahan carpet with a picturial and star shaped design, which is very hard to find in Oriental rugs. Even though my specialty is in Tabriz and Qom Persian rugs, I am also on occasion able to offer other types of oriental carpets like this Isfahan rug. Picturial rugs are sought after for their uniqueness and are often hang on walls or even framed. Most of my oriental carpets sell very quickly due to my passion for quality and they often keep their value as they get older.   This Tabriz rug measured rawly 10x13 and is among the largest metal persian carpets I have ever offered. In addition to the size, it is made with a silk foundation, which is very hard to do in metal rugs and it is one of the most valuable and expensive oriental carpets I have offered in my business. Typically, Persian carpets with a metal foundation are not found in this 60 raj quality and Tabriz rugs like this one are as valuable as the pure silk Qom rugs. Very sought after and extremely rare, these metal carpets are designed to be showpieces for large formal areas.

Rug #1039 - I liked this Tabriz rug from 2001 so much that I was able to convince the weaver to make me another. Not to be outdone, the other carpet has the same pattern, but slightly different colors. The center features a gorgeous pictorial.

Rug #5041 - SILK FOUNDATION & GOLD-METAL are just a couple of features that made this oversized Tabriz rug from 2002 a priceless piece of art. Measuring 10'x14', this super high end carpet is also the biggest metal rug so far.

Round Tabriz Mahi Persian carpet, which is extremely hard to find in Oriental rugs. One of my most popular designs in round Persian rugs is the Tabriz Mahi design and this particular Mahi carpet features a pattern that is very unusual and hard to find. Designed for high traffic areas, these Tabriz Mahi oriental carpets will last a lifetime and are also great as showpieces due to their high quality and lots of silk highlights. A great example of a rare and beautiful round Persian carpet.   Tabriz Picture Persian rug with a silk foundation and a very unique design. I had this design in another Tabriz rug of the same 5x7 size and have not been able to find other oriental carpets like them since. Both Tabriz carpets featured a 60 raj quality and they are designed as showpieces in formal areas or hang on walls. Persian carpets like these pieces are extremely hard to find and tend to be very popular. The animal and plant pictures are very detailed in this Tabriz rug and it sold within a few short weeks of arrival.

Rug #1076- Arrived in 2002, this Tabriz rug sold within days to a lovely lady in Switzerland. It was the first round Tabriz Mahi carpet in my collection and many others have followed since, but since one caught my eye.

Rug #1058 - Also made with a SILK FOUNDATION in 2001, this high end Tabriz rug features designs and quality that make it perfect for floors or in my clients case, a wall. Some of these Persian carpets have also been framed.

Nain Persian rug with a design called a tree-of-life, which is very rare in high end 6-lah Naiin oriental carpets. As with all of my Nain rugs, this carpet has over 600 kpsi and is an extremely fine example of a true showpiece rug. The design is such that it is ideal for a formal area and some of my clients like to hang these picture carpets oon walls. Nain rugs tend to be very traditional in colors and design, so a Naiin carpet like this one is very different from the others.   Another one of the most unusual Persian carpets that I have offered is this large oval Tabriz oriental rug. Since this business is more of a hobby, I can look for and offer rare Tabriz carpets like this oval Persian rug that are truly unique. Persian oval rugs are much more difficult to make than the round oriental rugs and large oval rugs like this Tabriz carpet are extremely rare and very sought-after.

Rug #5030 - This large Nain rug is a very fine Persian carpet with over 600 kpsi (6-lah) from 2002. The design is extremely rare for Nain rugs and features lots of animals and plant life.

Rug #5033 - Not to be outdone, I want to share with you this large oval Tabriz rug from 2003. The color combination is very unusual and carpets in this oval shape are among the hardest to make.

Pictorial Qom Persian carpet, which like all of my pure silk Qom oriental rugs, is made with over 700 kpsi. It is very rare to see Qom hunting Persian carpets in the large size and in general picture oriental rugs are always much smaller. This was my first Qom Persian rug with a hunting scene in this large size and all of my other hunting carpets are typically much smaller.   One of my most unique Persian carpets that I have offered is this large Tabriz oriental rug with a very rare design and color combination. Most Persian rugs feature a more traditional design, but this green color and general design is very unusual and the silk highlights are very vibrant due to the rich green surrounding color. Also, the lack of border is also extremely rare and I have not been able to find another Tabriz rug like it since.

Rug #5049 - Made of pure silk, this Qom rug from 2004 is one of the largest  hunting carpet that I have been able to find. Qom rugs with this type of design are extremely popular with my clients and to find a silk Qom carpet in the 10x7 size is just amazing.

Rug #1070 - One of the most unusual pieces of 2002 is this dark green Tabriz carpet, which found a happy home in Guam. Green carpets are extremely hard to find and this pattern is about a unique as is gets. Love the silk highlights and contrast with the dark green in this rug.

One of my most unusual looking Tabriz Persian rugs is this very fine carpet, which was actually supposed to have been a twin set. When we found this Tabriz carpet, it was still being woven and after realizing how unique it looked, we asked the weaver not to split it in half and to leave it as is. The solid black colors really bring out the silk highlights and it is one of my favorite Tabriz Persian rugs that I have ever offered.   Twin Persian rugs are rare and most of them are in offered in smaller sizes like this Tabriz carpet set. Since all genuine Persian carpets are handmade, it is very difficult to create these twin sets, unless the weaver is very skilled. The most common method of creating twin Persian carpets is to weave a very long piece and then cut it in the middle. After the rug is cut in half, the fringes are added to the other half of the carpets and they are sold as twin set.

Rug #1065 - This Tabriz rug from 2003 is actually supposed to have been a twin set. It was purchased right before it was completed and we asked the weaver to leave it this way. I specially love the colors and the contrast with the black.

Rug #3083 - These Tabriz twin carpets have accumulated the most frequent flier miles. Came from Tabriz in 2002 all the way to me in the US and than to a client in the Ukraine. What a rare color and design combination.
