Oriental rug #1.Twin Oriental rugs made from fine wool and silk. Oriental rugs are rarely ever made as twin rugs and are very sought after. Twin Oriental rugs like this set are extremely rare and most commonly used in bedrooms or other areas where a twin rug set is needed. Most twin oriental rugs are made in high end rugs like the Tabriz rugs and are very valuable. Due to the difficulty in making two perfectly matching oriental rugs, most weavers will not even try to make such rare rugs and most twin rugs tend to be in a smaller size range. The most common type of oriental rugs in twin sets are the high end Tabriz rugs.
Oriental rug #2. This oval oriental rug is made in Tabriz and features a metal foundation. My personal passion is for rare oriental rugs and this is a great example of one. Oval oriental rug with a silk and metal foundation. Among the most unusual oriental rugs are these metal based rugs and they are so hard to find that most retailers can't even offer them. I am only able to offer a few of these metal oriental rugs at a time and it is due to my family contacts with the weavers in Tabriz that I am even able to offer them. Extremely rare and valuable, these oriental rugs are designed to be placed in formal rooms and areas.
