etc.
Material (Pile): Kurkwool and silk. Main material is Kurkwool and silk was
added as highlights.
Foundation: Gold-Metal & Cotton
Price: $890.00
Quality: 50 raj, about 350 kpsi
Notes: This Tabriz Persian rug features a foundation made of cotton and a
gold colored metal. As a result, only 50% of the Tabriz rug has a pile with the
idea being that the kurkwool will be surrounded by the metal foundation. By
leaving the foundation exposed in many areas, the rug appears to have several
layers and it's very valuable. These Tabriz rugs are truly collector pieces and
are to be treated as such. The quality is very high and they are perfectly fine
to walk on, but ideal you would place them on a wall or in a low traffic area.
In addition, there are lots of silk highlights in the design of pattern.
