Size: 6'6" by 4'5"
Color: Main colors are shades of red, gold, gray etc.
Material (Pile): Pure Silk
Foundation: Silk
Price: $4400.00
Quality: EXTREMELY HIGH (90 raj), with over 800 kpsi
Notes: This Tabriz Persian rug is the finest and highest quality rug I have
ever offered and it's also the first time that I have been able to get a pure
silk Tabriz at a somewhat reasonable price. The quality is extremely fine and I
counted about 29 knots per inch, which would make it about 841 kpsi and puts it
in a class of it's own. If my mother had not purchased it herself from the
weaver in Tabriz, I would have guessed that it is a Qom rug. The workmanship is
virtually identical to a Qom, but it is much finer than even the Qom Persian
rugs I offer.
