Notes: The dome shape design in this Qom rug is called "Gonbad", which has become very popular and is typically found in high end rugs. If you look at my other pages, you will find this Gonbad design and variations of it in many other rugs. Perfect for floors and walls, it is also not too uncommon to find these small Qom rugs also in frames. As with virtually all genuine Qom rugs, this piece is signed by the weaver as you can see in one of the close-ups.
