Notes: My personal favorite pictorial rug ever!! Being a Thomas Kinkade fan myself, I came across this Tabriz rug by pure coincidence and I thought it was one of his paintings. Never thought I find one of his paintings in Iran, but when I asked the store owner about it, he pointed out that it was an actual high end Tabriz rug. I have several of his paintings in my home and I swear it looked like one of his from only a couple of feet away. When I researched it and discovered that it was indeed a replica of one of his paintings, I had to have it. Just like with the paintings, the weaver did such an amazing job with the colors and the details are exactly the same. It truly does look like someone turned on the lights in the house and I'm still debating on whether I will keep it for myself or not.
