Notes: Gorgeous Nain runner with a very unique
design and made of a very high 6-Lah quality. High quality Nain
runners are very hard to find and the typical Nain runners are of a
much lower quality. The flowered design in the center is very
unique and combine it with the 600 kpsi workmanship, and you have a
stunning looking piece. It is very hard to find long runners like
this one that are actually straight and this is truly a great
looking piece.
These high end Nain rugs were made famous by the best known weaver
in Iran, Mr. Habibian. Today, many weavers will use his techniques
to recreate these type of Nain rugs and will still use his
signature. Please note that there are some sellers who will offer
these Nain rugs as authentic Habibian rugs. Considering that Mr.
Habibian died many years ago, it is unlikely that he will continue
to bless us with new rugs and do not fall for these scams. These
type of Nain rugs are very high quality rugs but they are not
authentic Habibian rugs, if they were, they would sell for many
times the price.
