Notes: Extremely fine Nain rug with a very rare
design!!!! I have been begging for a Nain rug like this one for
years and I can only hope to get more in the future. This dome
shaped Gonbad design is extremely rare in Nain rugs and is typically
found in Tabriz and Qom rugs only. It's the first time that I have
been able to offer a large Nain rug with this design. In addition,
the quality is just outstanding and with about 600 kpsi it is also
an extremely fine piece. Lots of silk highlights and the pictures
don't come close to doing this Nain any justice.
Please note that this is not a genuine Habibian rug. Some retailers
will still sell these fine rugs as such and this is simply not the
case. Most high end 6-Lah rugs feature a variation of the Habibian
signature, but this does not value to the rug and it is simply an
added novelty.
