Notes: This little rug is very unique and if you are familiar with the old Persian history, you might notice some of the pictures. The center depicts the old ruins of Persepolis, which was the capitol of the Persian Empire. The guard surrounding the temple are the Imperial guards of the ancient royal family. I had several rugs with these pictures, but unfortunately, savy collectors grabbed them very quickly. This is the first time that I have seen a small one and it's also the first time that the design is made in a round rug. Very rare.
