Notes: What a beautiful Qom rug. It's rugs like
this one that make me feel like a kid in a candy store every time a
new shipment comes in. The dome shaped design is called "Gonbad or
Gombardeh" and it is becoming popular in Qom rugs almost as much as
in the Tabriz rugs. I especially love the color combination and the
colors change depending on the viewing angle and the amount of
light. Designed as a very high quality showpiece, it will be a focal
point of any formal area and even though it is perfectly fine to
walk on, I would strongly recommend that you place it in a low
traffic area and just enjoy it.
