Notes: This Tabriz Mahi rug was made by the
Pirouzian family, who are extremely well known in the Persian rug
trade for their superior Mahi designed Tabriz rugs. The Tabriz you
see here features a brand new design that the Pirouzian family just
recently introduced and it is a very unique variation of the popular
Mahi design. As with all of their rugs, there are lots more white
silk highlights than in ordinary Mahi rugs and you can actually see
them shine in the last picture. I was lucky enough to get this one
and also a larger piece and it is one of the most remarkable Mahi
rugs I have seen in a long time.
