Notes: This Isfahan rug is a fine piece and a great example of what a high end Persian rug should look and feel like. Generally speaking, Isfahan rugs tend to feature very traditional designs with large medallions, which is why I always look for the more unusual. This piece caught my eye due to the very fine quality and it is very different from most Isfahan rugs that feature the bold blues and reds. The dark blue color works very well with the lighter blue in the border and the overall design and is perfect for a formal area or under furniture.
