Notes: What an amazing rug. I was able to get this one from the same weaver who had sold me another high end Tabriz with Goldmetal. There are only a very few weavers who can actually make these type of rugs. Please feel free to shop around and find out for yourself how rare this rug is. These type of rugs are extremely expensive and are for serious collectors who are looking for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind rug. The pile is left exposed throughout the whole rug so that the person can see the Goldmetal and you can expect people to want to walk around it rather then over it. It's made of only the finest Kurkwool and is extremely fine. I can go on for hours about this rug, but the pictures are worth a thousand words.
Definitely one of my rarest rugs that I have been able to offer and it's also one of my favorites. Enjoy.
