Notes: WHAT A UNIQUE RUG. This is a high quality Tabriz with about 400 kpsi (50 raj) and it is an extremely rare find. This Tabriz was supposed to have been a pair of twins, but the weaver never bothered to seperate the two. In fact he added a perfectly straight white line to the back of the rug so that he can go back and make it into a pair. The colors in this rug are just amazing and the silk looks just as pretty in real life as it does in the pictures. As if all this isn't enough, the weaver added goldmetal to the ends of both sides where the fringes are to give it an added touch of luxury. This rug is among my favorites and if you are a collector of rare rugs, then don't let this one get by you.
