Notes: Oval Tabriz rugs are some of the hardest Persian rugs to weave and are very rare. This Tabriz rug was made by the Faraji family, who are very well known for their outstanding workmanship and designs. The choice of colors and the large floral pattern are trademarks of the Faraji family and as you can see in the close-ups, the rug also features plenty of obvious silk highlights. As with all genuine Faraji rugs, the family name is added to the rug.
