Notes: This dome shaped design is called "Gombardeh"
and it is a more modern pattern that has become very popular. I have
had several Tabriz rugs with this design, and I can't replace them
soon enough. The choice of colors is different from most other
Gonbad pieces and I especially like the square shape with this
design, which I think looks perfect. Both ends feature a small kelim
and the weaver was kind enough to add his signature to them.
