Notes: Very high quality Nain rug with about 600
kpsi. This is also one of my wife's favorites and she absolutely
loves the unique design and square shape. Fortunately for you and
me, we have no room left in our home for a large rug like this so I
can still offer it for sale. Even though the colors are very typical
for Nain rugs, the weaver did an excellent job of adding new design
features and the overall look is very different from most other
Persian rugs. These high end Nain rugs were made famous
by the best known weaver in Iran, Mr. Habibian. Today, many weavers
will use his techniques to recreate these type of Nain rugs and will
still use his signature. Please note that there are some sellers who
will offer these Nain rugs as authentic Habibian rugs. Considering
that Mr. Habibian died many years ago, it is unlikely that he will
continue to bless us with new rugs and do not fall for these scams.
These type of Nain rugs are very high quality rugs but they are not
authentic Habibian rugs, if they were, they would sell for ten times
the price.
