Notes: Very high quality Nain rug with about 600
kpsi. Most Nain rugs have a much lower quality, but there are some
very high end pieces being made like this piece and they are very
fine and luxurious. The design and colors are very traditional and
it is extremely well made. These high end Nain rugs were made famous
by the best known weaver in Iran, Mr. Habibian. Today, many weavers
will use his techniques to recreate these type of Nain rugs and will
still use his signature. Please note that there are some sellers who
will offer these Nain rugs as authentic Habibian rugs. Considering
that Mr. Habibian died many years ago, it is unlikely that he will
continue to bless us with new rugs and do not fall for these scams.
These type of Nain rugs are very high quality rugs but they are not
authentic Habibian rugs, if they were, they would sell for ten times
the price.
