Important Information for
International Clients
FREE worldwide shipping with purchases of
US$4000.00 or more.**
Over 10 years experience shipping rugs to every corner of the world!!
All rugs are shipped by
FedEx or UPS global air services!!
International Shipping Policy:
To protect against theft or damage during shipping, I only
use FedEx or UPS. Due to
the fact that overseas shipping is not fully insured by the Postal offices and
the tracking is next to impossible, I
prefer not to use the regular mail to ship the rugs. The shipping rates for UPS and FedEx are higher
than standard mail, but both carriers allow the packages to be fully insured.
In addition, the rugs are always traceable and their service is of the highest
standard. I have shipped rugs
to many countries throughout the world and never had any problems with either carrier.
Due to the high cost of shipping, I can not offer free
shipping on purchases below US$4000.00, but I will do my best to assist you with
the shipping cost.
**Shipping to Canada:
FREE FedEx or UPS ground shipping on ALL purchases regardless of amount.
Since FedEx and UPS deliver to Canada in the same manner as in the continental
US, I can ship you any rug regardless of the purchase price.
For expedited air service, contact me for more information.
**Shipping to
Europe, Australia, Asia, South America:
If you reside in a country within one of
these continents, you will most likely be eligible for FREE FedEx
or UPS global shipping on purchases of US$4000.00. So far, I have shipped
rugs to many countries within these continents without any added
cost, but please do check with me first to avoid any problems.
**Exceptions:
Some countries are not serviced regularly by
UPS or FedEx. In this event, I can not offer you free shipping even if you make
a large purchase due to the very high cost of shipping. To ensure that you get the best service, check
with me and I can give you some additional information.
Payment
Policy:
Due to a rise in foreign credit card fraud, I am no longer able to accept credit
cards and all payments must be made in the form of a bank wire. The funds are
typically deposited within 1-2 business days and I will notify you as soon as
the transfer is completed. Once the payment has been received, I will
ship the rug(s) and e-mail you the tracking number.
Custom Fees:
Some countries charge an import customs fee and it can vary depending on
your country. You may want to check with your local customs office or contact
either FedEx or UPS to see what kind of
fees to expect. When I ship
the rugs, I will only pay the actual shipping cost and you will be responsible for any customs
or other fees that might be
assessed by your customs office at the time that the rug arrives at the port of
entry.
