Quality Service Uniqueness Value
Large square Persian Nain rug with a very high 6-lah quality and about 625 kpsi. These type of high end Nain Persian carpets are very popular with my clients and are great examples of what high end oriental rugs should look and feel like. Most high end Nain Persian rugs feature very traditional designs and even though the majority of the Nain oriental carpets are of a much lower quality, it is these high quality Nain Persian rugs, that has given the name the respect it rightfully deserves. Large rare pure silk Qom Persian rug with a geometric design called Gonbad or Gonbardeh, which is very rare in oriental carpets. My Qom silk oriental rugs are very popular with my clients due to their uniqueness and Persian carpets like this Qum rug are truly showpieces. Designed as a showpiece, silk Persian carpets have become very popular, but are difficult to make due to their extremely quality. Large round Tabriz oriental rug with a geometric design called Gombad or Gombardeh, which is among my most popular designs in Persian carpets. It is thanks to my family connections with many of the weavers in Tabriz that I am able to even get these type of Persian rugs and they are very fine and unique Tabriz carpets. Many of the oriental carpets have sold very quickly, and even though the vast majority of large round Persian rugs are around 7' in diameter, I am still able to offer some like this larger 8' Tabriz oriental carpet and I have even offered some in the 10' range as well, which are some of the most spectacular Persian rugs you will ever see. The design in the oversize room size Persian Tabriz rug is called Gonbad Faraji, which is extremely hard to find in Oriental carpets. Due to my direct family connections, I am able to purchase some of these rare Tabriz oriental rugs and they are very popular with my clients. Designed as a showpiece, these Tabriz carpets tend to be made of a very high quality and are great examples of what fine oriental rugs should look and feel like.

Featured Persian Carpet Design
"SQUARE Rugs"

Large square Tabriz Persian rug with a geometric design called Gombad or Gombardeh and a silk foundation. This Tabriz oriental rug is a very high end Persian carpet and it is also one of two identical Tabriz rugs that were made. My father and I decided to purchase both, but due to the large 8' size, we choose to each keep one and both sold in a very short period of time. The design of this Tabriz Persian rug is extremely rare and the square size is also not as common in oriental carpets. Square pure silk Qom Persian rug in a medium size, which is extremely rare in Oriental carpets. These type of high end Persian carpets are very popular with my clients, who are looking for very fine and valuable Oriental rugs. Most pure silk Qom Persian rugs feature very traditional designs and even though the majority of the Qom oriental carpets are of a much lower quality, it is these high quality Qom Persian rugs, that has given the name the respect it rightfully deserves.
Another unusual Persian rug design is the square shape, which is probably the least appreciated and yet very beautiful carpet design. Square rugs have always been very rare due to a limited demand, but the shape allows for some truly beautiful geometric patterns, which are actually more similar to round Persian carpets.  Many square carpets feature large perfectly round medallions and especially the high end Tabriz rugs and pure silk Qom carpets can have some truly unique designs. Square carpets are also very rare in smaller sizes and I always try my best to find new and unusual pieces. The ones I picked for this section are great examples of rare and fine square rugs and I hope you like my selection.

As you can see in this picture, all of the Persian rugs that I offer are 100% handmade and most are from the city of Tabriz in Iran. This weaver is making a round Tabriz Persian rug, which was purchased as soon as it was completed. Typically, a large Persian rug is made by more than one person and as you can see in this picture, the Tabriz rug is being woven by a husband and wife, which is very common.

A round Persian rug being made by a weaver in Tabriz, Iran. This Tabriz rug was completed a few years ago and shipped to me shortly after it was  completed. Every genuine Persian rug is handmade and as you can see in the picture, many Persian rugs are made in small family businesses where the art is passed from one generation to the next. Due to the direct contacts between my family and the weavers, I am able to purchase unique and hard to find rugs that many retailers can not offer.

My family is from Tabriz and all of the rugs you see are purchased directly from the weavers. I do not deal in any rugs that are stored in warehouses.

For more information and pictures, please visit my information pages.

All of my Tabriz rugs and Nain are made of fine Kurkwool and have large silk highlights or have silk added to the pile. The Qom rugs that I offer are all pure silk and are the of the very high quality.

Here you can see a young man trimming the silk highlights and adding the final touches on the Tabriz rug. Large Tabriz rugs like this 10' by 14' piece can take several months to make and are typically woven by 2 to 3 people. Once a rug is complete, it is removed from the frame, trimmed, washed, and then sold to buyers or local shop owners.

The person in the back in my mother, who lives in Tabriz, and she is my main purchaser. Our passion and respect for the weavers has allowed us to purchase many of these truly unique pieces and we maintain a tremendous relationship with many of them.

All of my Tabriz Persian rugs are at least 50 raj or higher and you can one being completed in this picture. The tool that the young man uses is designed to trim the silk highlights of this Tabriz Persian rug and it is a very careful and slow process.
This picturial Isfahan Persian rug is a perfect example of what a high quality Isfahan oriental carpet should look like. The design features a typical Omar Khayyam picture representing one of the old Persian stories. Many of my oriental rugs are sold to clients all over the world and whether you are a local or overseas, the service will be to the highest standards and the best of my ability.

Quality:
These unique Tabriz, Nain, and Qom carpets are among my personal favorite Persian rugs and my clients seem to share my passion. The quality and workmanship is very important to me in every one of my Persian rugs to ensure that they will keep their beauty and value. Each Persian rug in my galleries is personally inspected by my family and myself and I pride myself on the quality that I offer. If you look around my galleries, you will notice that I only offer high quality Persian carpets and my clients keep coming back and referring others for that very same reason.

Large Persian Nain rug with a very high 6-lah quality and about 625 kpsi. These type of high end Nain oriental carpets are very popular with my clients and are great examples of what high end Persian rugs should look and feel like. Most high end Nain oriental rugs feature very traditional designs and even though the majority of the Nain Persian carpets are of a much lower quality, it is these high quality Nain Persian rugs, that has given the name the respect it rightfully deserves.

Service:
Whether you are looking for a small Persian carpet or a very large and expensive piece, the service will be the same and I personally handle all aspects of the transaction from the beginning to end. As you look around the website, you will probably notice a very personal and straight forward approach to Persian rugs, which is exactly what I do. I think that the best way to run a business is to treat a client the way I would want to be treated and I still believe in the old-fashion way of doing things.

Another one of the most unusual Persian carpets that I have offered is this large oval Tabriz oriental rug. Since this business is more of a hobby, I can look for and offer rare Tabriz carpets like this oval Persian rug that are truly unique. Persian oval rugs are much more difficult to make than the round oriental rugs and large oval rugs like this Tabriz carpet are extremely rare and very sought-after.

Uniqueness:
Among the more unusual Persian rugs I offer are the Tabriz carpets. Even though this is a small Persian rug business and I do not offer the quantity that most retailers have, I hear from folks all the time who tell me that I have rugs that they have never seen before. Whether the Persian carpets are round, oval, octagon, twins, metal based, or any other shape or form, I am always excited to be able to offer them provided of course that they have the quality that I and my clients expect. If you like to see other unique Persian rugs, do not miss my personal favorites. You can find the link above in this home page.

Large square pure silk Qom Persian rug with a design featuring many different Oriental carpets. Square oriental rugs are rare and to round pure silk Persian carpets are extremely hard to find and are very valueable. This type of a Qom Persian rug often has over 700 kpsi and it made of the finest pure silk. Many of my clients like to buy the Qom oriental carpets for floors, but are also used for hanging on walls.

Value:
One of the many reasons why my clients keep coming back is the fact that the high quality Persian rugs will typically maintain their value. In the last few years, the prices of Persian carpets have gone up due to the fact that there are less rugs being produced and I believe that this trend will continue. Each Persian rug in my inventory is handpicked and due to their uniqueness and quality, I feel very comfortable in recommending them knowing and seeing how the values have appreciated over the years.
