The design in the oversize room size Persian Tabriz rug is called Gonbad Faraji, which is extremely hard to find in Oriental carpets. Due to my direct family connections, I am able to purchase some of these rare Tabriz oriental rugs and they are very popular with my clients. Designed as a showpiece, these Tabriz carpets tend to be made of a very high quality and are great examples of what fine oriental rugs should look and feel like. Another very rare Persian Tabriz rug is this star-shaped oriental carpet, which has received a trememdous amount of interest. Due to my family's Persian rug business in Tabriz, which has been there for generations, I am able to offer some of these rare Tabriz oriental carpets. My family has direct contacts with many of the weavers in the city and as a result I can purchase Persian rugs that most other oriental carpet retailers are unable to unwilling to offer because of the uniqueness or cost of the Persian rugs. This pure silk Persian carpet comes from the city of Qom and it features a horizontal hunting scene, which is very rare in oriental rugs. Qom rugs are best known for their pure silk carpets and are among the finest handmade Persian rugs. All of the ones that I offer have over 700 kpsi and are designed to be showpieces to be displayed in formal areas. Some of my clients also like to hang these silk carpets and a few of the Qom rugs have also been framed. Large pure silk Persian Qom rug with a dome shaped design called Gombardeh or just Gombad. These type of high end pure silk Qom Oriental carpets are very popular with my clients and are great examples of what high end Persian rugs should look and feel like. Most high end Qom Persian rugs feature very traditional designs and even though the majority of the Oriental carpets are of a much lower quality, it is these high quality pure silk Persian rugs, that has given the name the respect it rightfully deserves.
